The holidays are coming up but we at Masqot never stop working. We bought a contact importer script through www.getmycontacts.com. And it works great! We are introducing this feature so that you can send your invitation links much easier and get more referrals!! What you have to do is:
1. simply log into Masqot
2. choose your e-mail provider from which you want to import your contacts from
3. type in e-mail and password (which will not be saved by us)
4. and send the invitations!

We have been watching the new members very closely and we got 16 members so far today! And all of them from China!! This is crazy, our plan was to spread the word in Sweden and we are very surprised that the chinese students have discovered Masqot. I remember uploading all the chinese universities.. it was around 970 universitites and it took me around 6-7 hours to add them

Hey people!
Our busiest day today! 8 new members and we got very excited! Me and Behzad are following the members activity very closely and jump for joy whenever someone updates their profile or upload a profile picture. hehe. Most of the new members are from China which is really exciting.. the question now is whether we should introduce the chinese language into Masqot or just keep it low, at least for a while.
And we got reviewed on Killerstartups.com yesterday which I think is cool!

Behzad just came up with the first promotion video for Masqot.com! We put it on Youtube and lets see how it works out. We are currently working on another short slideshow to put it on the firstpage to make clear how Masqot works and how you refer friends with the personal referral link.

Wow… its been a long three weeks since we wrote in the blog. But we’ve been busy working with the new version of Masqot. Doesn’t look much different from the outside though.. but here the new deal:
WE WILL PAY 70% OF ALL OUR REVENUES FROM ADVERTISING TO OUR USERS!
Jap, you read it right. We have made up a system for the users that allows them to make money while using the site! It’s very simple: you sign up, log in, chat with friends or whatever and YOU GET PAID while doing it!

Now I know that we just launched and everything but me and Behzad just came up with great ideas on how to get things rolling on Masqot. So we will be working hard now and lets see if we can launch the Masqot version 1.1. hehe. Just some days after the original release. I can’t tell you right now what the big idea is about but it will definately boost the number of members coming in ;).
So we won’t close down the site entirely, there are not that much action on the site anyways, but for those who are visiting, the site will be unstable for some days now since we will test the new stuff.
